The Landing…. part 1 of xxx

Today we started framing out the landing, which is really more of a room than a landing! It will house the study complete with bookshelves and desk. It will also double a sleeping area when needed. This is another tricky job espceially fitting the ceiling around the A-frames. Did suggest today that we lower the ceiling to ‘normal’ height rather than opening the roof right up but this wasn’t accepted by local planning!

One of the essential items for a study has already been installed, even if it is just sitting on a cardboard box in the middle of the building site for now – the wireless router!
