Update 26/10 – Excavation man turned up today to check if he could get his big digger (3m wide) down the lane, the nnswer is no! He did suggest going across the farmers field and cutting a tree down to get on the property but we managed to convince him to bring the smaller digger (2.6m wide).
The should start work in the morning. Guess we will find out how much rock there is here when they start!
