A day at Ikea….

Tuesday was a day off, we drove to Bordeaux (2 hours) arriving at lunchtime to a very busy and packed town centre where we failed to find a car parking space, so we arrived at Ikea a little earlier than planned and left 4 hours later with three trolleys full of goodies plus a 3 seater settee. The settee went on the roof and there wasn’t a spare cubic inch of luggage space once packed, the journey back took nearly 3 hours! These purchase have really helped tranform the house, even the girls were almost complimentary.

As you can see the kids are really into the new furniture, and find watching TV even more enjoyable now…….

The old furniture was taken to the local dump!
