Visitors - Julia, Alan and James

We were delighted that friends, Julia and Alan and their son James, from the UK decided to make a detour to stay with us for a couple of days on their way to Italy. This especially helped us focus on finishing the second new bedroom and also made us relax for the 2 days they were with us.

We had many delightful meals with them on the terrace:

While they were with us we visited the Chateau and National Stud at Pompadour and the old 'Forge' or ironworks at Savignac Ledrier.

Invasion.....

well not quite..... but we did have 2 lots of visitors at one time!

Sues parents stopped off for a weekend on their way back from spending 8 weeks on the road in France and Spain in their motorhome.

And at the same time my Mother travelled with us to France for the weekend - our first guest who dared to stay in the house!.

We also had another unexpected guest Saturday night, but a piece of cheese and a mousetrap soon got rid of him....

Our First Visitors

We were pleased to welcome our first UK visitors on 8 April 2006 - friends from our village in the UK - Gabor, Caroline, Jes and Richard.

They stopped for a couple of hours on their way down to SW France for a weeks vacation. As they brought gifts from the local bakery they were very welcome!

Gabor is a 'podcaster' and his excellent podcast can be obtained from http://electricallanguage.blogspot.com/ (see links sections).
